Powered by a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine, the new Colorado is very athletic. A high-output variant of this engine is available, and it can deliver 430 pound-feet of torque. With this engine, you can tow up to 7,700 pounds around Gardnerville, and many trailering programs can help you do so safely. There can be up to five different drive modes, including Tow/Haul, Terrain, and Off-Road modes.
In Terrain mode, the truck will be ready for low-speed rock crawling, and Off-Road mode will allow for special adjustments that can enhance your performance when you go off the pavement near Carson City. With the available Off-Road Performance Display, you can monitor the altimeter, 3D pitch, g-force, and more. The new Trail Boss trim sits 9.5 inches off the ground, and the ZR2 has an even higher ground clearance of 10.7 inches.
Technology
The Colorado's cabin feels futuristic, thanks to all the technology integrated. It can come with an extra-large wireless charging pad for convenience, and it can have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As you're driving around Susanville, you'll appreciate the standard 11.3-inch color touchscreen and eight-inch fully digital instrument display.
