Champion Chevrolet is seeking an experienced drivability technician to join our high-volume Service Department.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Inspection, diagnosis, and repair of all models of General Motors vehicles while fulfilling the standards set forth by the factory
- Effective communication with service advisors and dispatchers regarding repair timelines and updates
- Maintaining accurate documentation of completed repairs
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Participating in ongoing training as required by General Motors
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate General Motors experience, with a minimum of 2 years drivability experience
- Possess ASE Certification
- Maintain strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail; possess the ability to multitask effectively and manage priorities in fast-paced environment.
- Furnish proof of a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Exhibit effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Work safely and effectively, to ensure personal safety and the safety of team members and customers

The physical demands of this position require the employee to stand, walk, bend and move constantly for the duration of their shift. The nature of the work environment requires the employee to utilize safety precautions on a consistent basis. All candidates are subject to a background check and drug screen.
All candidates must be willing to work the assigned schedule, which will include one Saturday approximately every eight weeks, based on technician rotation. Regularly scheduled hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
Compensation is based on the flat rate pay system and will be determined by experience and skill level. A competitive sign-on bonus may be offered. Specialty tools will be provided by the dealership; standard tools are the technician's responsibility.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
