2025 Chevrolet Safety Features

Chevy has a great lineup in 2025, full of vehicles with advanced safety features to help you stay secure at every turn. You’ll find many fantastic, safe cars and trucks in the lineup ready to test drive at your local Chevy dealership.

1. High Definition Surround Vision

Some Chevy cars are equipped with multiple cameras at different points around the car. These are then stitched together to form an overhead image of the entire area around you. The image is digitally created from all the camera views. You also get to view the live views from the front and rear cameras.

2. Front, Rear, and Side Alert

Several features make sure you’re aware when there’s something you could crash into in front of or behind the car. One of these is standard forward collision alert, which warns you about potential front-end collisions with vehicles. Front pedestrian braking works alongside it to make sure you and any pedestrians ahead of you are also safe.

Rear pedestrian alert and side bicyclist alert are similar features that warn you about pedestrians behind you and people cycling into your blind zone.

3. Teen Driver Technology

Chevy cars are equipped with technology that helps prevent teenagers from speeding, makes sure they wear their seatbelts, and discourages distracted driving.

The car won’t let them shift out of park for 20 seconds unless their seatbelt is buckled. You can set speed and volume limits for the vehicle, and the car will generate a report card to show you things like how far your teenager drove, their highest speed, and whether or not certain safety alerts were activated.

4. Lane Keep Assist

Sometimes your focus can waver, and you might end up drifting toward the neighboring lane. Your Chevy can detect the lane lines on the road and warn you if you’re drifting out of them. It’ll gently turn your steering wheel to grab your attention, letting you steer safely back into the middle of your lane.

5. Rear Camera Mirror

Your rearview mirror can be used as a normal mirror, as expected. However, you can also switch its display and have it show you the feed from your car’s rear camera view. This gives you an unobstructed look at everything that’s going on behind the vehicle.

We have a wide range of vehicles with these features, so be sure to check them out. Visit Champion Chevrolet in Reno, NV, or call 775-432-0545.
